Cab:app first hit the market back in 2010, aimed primarily at the drivers instead of just passengers - setting it apart from the likes of Uber, Hailo etc. It was in desperate need of a complete UX/UI overhaul to bring it up to speed with new tech specs etc. Over the years the team had also had a fair amount of feedback from the users (drivers) so we had a high level understanding of what was in need of changing.
