Paysme is a pioneering Fintech company that supports small businesses, helping them thrive in the digital economy. With over 400million SMEs worldwide, many lack the financial and digital skills to compete effectively. During the pandemic SMEs lost 30-50% of revenue, so the problem is even bigger now!

Paysme aims to address the challenges by offering a fairer, simpler and personalised business model. The platforms provide easy access to various financial services including mobile payments, digital banking, e-commerce, insurance, lending and accounting. By embedding these services in a tailored industry app, Paysme streamlines operations, reduces costs, saves time and boosts revenues for SMEs across the supply chain.

Overview:

During my time at Paysme, I played a pivotal role in redefining the company’s branding and strategy across its three underlying brands (“powered by Paysme"). Leveraging my skills in branding, strategic planning and digital design I spearheaded various initiatives aimed at elevating the company’s presence in the Fintech industry. My responsibilities covered:

>  crafting compelling pitch decks for potential investors and clients

>  designing graphics for expos, talks and conferences

>  crafting materials for award submissions

Branding and strategy development:

One of my primary objectives during my time at Paysme was to refine the branding and strategy for the company and its associated brands. I conducted comprehensive research to gain insights into market trends, consumer preferences and competitive landscape. Utilising this knowledge, I helped to devise strategic plans tailored to each brand’s unique positioning and target audience. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams ensured alignment between branding initiative and overarching business objectives.

Webflow site:

I led the development of Paysme’s website on Webflow, focusing on user-friendly design and seamless functionality (optimised for both desktop and mobile). The launch of the new website bolstered Paysme’s online presence, serving as a vital platform for driving brand awareness and attracting clients and investors.

Pitch decks:

In order to attract potential investors and clients, alongside the CEO, I developed dynamic pitch decks that effectively communicated Paysme’s value proposition, competitive advantages and potential growth. They highlighted key metrics, market opportunities and strategic milestones. Through compelling story telling and visually engaging content, I aimed to captivate the audience and secure funding for Paysme’s vision.

Graphic design for events and conferences:

As part of the company’s marketing efforts, I would create visually impactful graphics for various events, including expos, talks and conferences (platinum sponsor at London Fintech Week 2023).

Award submission materials:

Leveraging my design skills, I curated compelling materials for award entries that highlights Paysme’s achievements, product innovation and impact on the Fintech landscape. (AWS Fintech Accelorator and Sports Pro Ignition).
